Cowboy owner Jerry Jones is planning a new mixed-use project at The Star in Frisco. Upon full build-out, the development could feature 158 urban living units, a hotel, a marquee sign, two parking garages and two office buildings on the northwest corner of Dallas Parkway and Warren Parkway. The Dallas Business Journal reports the project is being called “Frisco Multi-Event Center Addition.”
The proposed site is 11.9 acres and currently used as a parking lot adjacent to The Star, the mixed-use development that serves as the Cowboys’ headquarters.
The Star, located at 9 Cowboys Way, opened in 2016 and has become a major economic driver for Frisco. More than just the Dallas Cowboys practice facility, other billion-dollar projects in the area include Firefly Park, Frisco Railhead, and The Mix and Fields, which is currently home to the PGA of America Headquarters and the 500-room Omni PGA Frisco Resort.
