Huge waves strike Peruvian coastline

Three-quarters of Peru’s ports have been shut down due to massive Waves battering the coastline.

Beaches are off-limits, and fishing boats have been barred from venturing out to sea as a safety measure.

The waves, affecting the Piura and Tumbes regions, are set to continue until the new year, according to forecasts.
