Virat Kohli played an IPL match at his home ground in the Indian Premier League 2023. He scored a fifty at the Arun Jaitley Stadium during the 16th edition.
Kohli met his childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma before the toss against Delhi Capitals. The 34-year-old RCB batter scored 55 off 46 balls, while skipper Du Plessis chipped in with a quick-fire 45 off 32 balls.
Kohli and Mahipal Lomror’s half-centuries lifted RCB to 181-4 in 20 overs. However, the home franchise won the game by 7 wickets, with Philip Salt accumulating 87 off 45 balls. Virat enjoyed his time with his teammates after the contest.
