Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) suffered a major setback in their IPL 2023 campaign as Rajat Patidar has been ruled out of the entire season due to an Achilles Heel injury.
The Madhya Pradesh batsman was expected to appear in the tournament’s second half, but unfortunately, his injury turned out to be more severe than anticipated.
After getting ruled out of the ongoing season, Patidar took to his social media handle to share his disappointment with the RCB fans. He shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram story, expressing his regret over missing out on the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, where the team plays its home matches. He also assured the fans that he would always cheer for the team no matter where he is.”I will miss the red and gold army at Chinnaswamy: No matter where I am, I will always cheer for you. Until next time,” Patidar wrote on his Instagram handle.
The 29-year-old had a brilliant season in 2022, scoring 333 runs in eight matches, including two half-centuries and one century. His performances were a vital contribution to the team’s success in reaching the playoffs.
