Chennai Super Kings levelled Mumbai Indians’ record of five IPL trophies after they beat Gujarat Titans by five wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
In the finals, Gujarat, batting first, put 214/4 on the board courtesy of Sai Sudharsan’s 96(47), which included eight fours and six sixes. Further, Wriddhiman Saha amassed 54(39).
In reply, CSK needed 171 to win in 15 overs. Devon Conway won the player of the match award for his 47(25). Meanwhile, Shivam Dube scored an unbeaten 32(21). In the end, Ravindra Jadeja smashed ten off the final two balls to seal the win for CSK.
