India defeated the West Indies by 200 runs in the third ODI to clinch the series by 2-1. Hardik led the side in the absence of regular captain Rohit Sharma. He scored an unbeaten 70 off 52 balls and credited Virat Kohli.
“I had a chat with Virat Kohli and give me important inputs. His suggestions helped me in the third game of the series. Virat told me to spend time at the crease and I exactly did what he told me and felt nice. I am thankful to him for sharing his expereice with me,” said Hardik.
India had won the first ODI by five wickets but lost the second game by six wickets. In the series decider, almost all the batters scored runs. Shardul Thakur and Mukesh Kumar shared seven wickets as the Men in Blue humiliated the hosts.
