MCU fans have been clamoring for Marvel’s Echo release date. Created by Marion Dayre, Echo is an upcoming superhero action crime-drama miniseries set to release on Disney Plus. It has been developed from the namesake Marvel Comics character and is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), serving as a spin-off to the 2021 series Hawkeye. The plot revolves around Maya Lopez as she returns to her hometown in Oklahoma and encounters new challenges, comes to terms with her familial history, and finds acceptance among her people.
Here’s all the Echo release date information we know so far and all the details on when it is coming out.
Is there a Marvel’s Echo release date?
Echo’s release date is expected to arrive by January 2024.
Maya Lopez, Tracksuit Mafia’s deaf commander, is an important character in Hawkeye. It was reported in March 2021 that Echo, a show focused on Lopez, is in early development at Marvel Studios. The series was originally supposed to be released mid-2023 but was delayed until November 29, 2023. Echo suffered another delay, likely due to the Hollywood strikes, as Marvel shifted its premiere date to January 2024. The series is part of MCU’s Phase 5 and the first show in the franchise’s history to release all its episodes simultaneously.
This date is an estimation based on the information we have at the time of this writing.
The cast includes Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez / Echo, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, Chaske Spencer as Henry, Tantoo Cardinal as Chula, Graham Greene as Skully, Cody Lightning as Cousin Biscuits, Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Devery Jacobs as Bonni, Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, and more.
Speaking to the fans at an event in November 2022, D’Onofrio confirmed that the events of Echo would lead to Daredevil: Born Again, in which both he and Cox are set to reprise their respective roles from Marvel’s Netflix television shows.
