Former India batter Aakash Chopra said Arshdeep Singh can represent the Men in Blue across formats. However, he is surprised that the pacer is not a part of main squads.
Arshdeep was recently named in the team for the Asian Games, which are set to begin on September 23.
“I was surprised when I saw his name in the team. I was surprised because they are not considering him for ODIs at all. You don’t consider him for T20Is. Now you are not considering him for the Asia Cup. You are already keeping him out of the World Cup. What has happened?” said Chopra.
He went to say that Arshdeep can play all formats. “Arshdeep can play across formats. Atleast keep him in white-ball teams. I was surprised to see Mukesh Kumar in all teams. He might be in the race for Continental Cup,” he added.
