The upcoming 2023 Women’s FIFA World Cup USA is ready with its squad and showing top-notch performance in qualification matches. The 9th edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup is hosted by Australia and New Zealand and is scheduled to take place from 20 July to 20 August 2023.
USA manager Vlatko Andonovski built a successful team in the 2019 FIFA Women’s Cup, the USA was defending Champion. The USA has four-time FIFA titles (1991, 1999, 2015, 2019), four Olympic gold medals (1996, 2004, 2008, and 2012), and eight CONCACAF Gold Cups.
USA is at the top of the FIFA ranking worldwide with 20104.6 points (Dated – 20-Apr-2022). Australia and New Zealand will jointly host the tournament.
The United States is the reigning champs, having won the past two competitions in 2015 and 2019.
The group was chosen as the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Team of the Year in 1997 and 1999, and Sports Illustrated picked the whole group as 1999 Sportswomen of the Year for its standard Sportsman of the Year honor.
In July 2022, the group contended in the CONCACAF W Championship. The USWNT won its gathering, outscoring adversaries 9-0 in the gathering stage, and afterward won the elimination round 3-0 against Costa Rica and the last 1-0 against Canada.
