England took KL Rahul’s wicket early in the innings after inviting India to bat first in the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup at the Adelaide Oval. His downfall stunned the Indian fans on the ground, and they went into the shell.
When Ravi Shastri asked Nasser Hussain about the atmosphere in the stands, former England captain was surprised to see the fans of the Men in Blue.
“I am surprised as the Indian fans are not in a mood after the dismissal of KL Rahul. The England bowlers have managed to keep the supporters in their seats, which means that Jos Buttler’s team has won half of the battle. The moment fans raise their voices, it becomes difficult for any team to face this Indian team,” he said.
Rahul scored just 5 off 5 balls before he was sent back to the dugout by the England pacer.
